Sharon Ann Busch

Sharon Ann Busch, 80, Algoma, WI, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025.

Sharon Ann was born on May 12, 1945. She graduated from Algoma High School in 1963 and then attended Green Bay College of Cosmetology, completing her studies in 1964.
Sharon worked as a stylist for Eurena’s and later Cut Hut in Sturgeon Bay, WI, for over 40 years. She was very fond of her “ladies,” many of whom were loyal customers over her many years of service.  She took great pride in helping each feel their best.

Sharon Ann was very close with her mother, Helen, sharing the family home with her for decades. Sharon enjoyed taking photos with loved ones, hosting gatherings, and playing Sheepshead with family and friends.  She was a life-long member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Algoma, in which she found great comfort.

She is survived by her sister, Carol Fairbairn, brother Lynn “Moss” (Sharon) Busch, and sister-in-law, Johanna Busch; nephews Larry (Kelly) Fairbairn, Jeff Fairbairn, and Kevin (Theresa) Fairbairn; nieces Nikki (Josh) Venden and Tracey (Gabe) Gunderson; as well as ten grand nieces and nephews.

Sharon Ann was preceded in death by her father, Lorenz Busch, Sr. and mother, Helen Clara Johanna Bertha Weise Busch; sister, Yvonne Busch, brother, Lorenz Busch, Jr., and brother-in-law, Fred Fairbairn.

The family would like to thank Jenny and the entire staff at Autumn’s Journey for their extraordinary care and compassion.  The family is also grateful to Heather and the complete team at Unity Hospice who kept Sharon comfortable and content during her final days.  In addition, the family extends their appreciation to Pastor John Moll from St. Paul's Lutheran Church and Chaplin Nathan from Unity Hospice for continually tending to Sharon Ann's spiritual needs.

Visitation and service will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Algoma on December 27, 2025, from 9:30 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM with Rev. Joel McKenney and Rev. John Moll officiating.  Burial in the Evergreen Cemetery.
