John Albert Jolin, 87, Green Bay, passed away, Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Edenbrook Nursing Home.
He was born December 27, 1936, in Algoma to the late Lawrence and Genevieve (Wiest) Jolin. After John graduated from the Sturgeon Bay High School, he entered the U.S. Navy and served in Korea from December 22, 1954, until his honorable discharge, October 25, 1957. He served as a Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class. He continued working in a hospital doing the same thing he did after his discharge from service.
John enjoyed fishing and working on cars and trucks in his spare time.
John is survived by his daughter Debbie (Robert) Wilhelm and his son Daniel (Dawn) Jolin; and 5 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother James Jolin.
A committal will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 1, 2024 at St. Joseph Cemetery in the Town of Sevastopol with Rev. David Leistra officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the United States Navy and Weber-Tess AMVETS Post 51. Entombment will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery Columbarium.
